Caracal Lynx | Non-dangerous

The Caracal (Caracal caracal), also called Persian Lynx or African Lynx, is a fiercely territorial medium-sized cat. The Caracal takes its name the turkish work for black ears @karakulak'. The Caracal is one of the largest of four smaller species of cat. It stands 45cm (18 inches) at the shoulder and weighs about 18kg (40lbs). The Caracal has a rich tawny coat with distinctive black markings around the eyes and muzzle, tuffted ears and a short tail.They have been known to take sheep or goats from farms but are normally nocturnal and seldom seen.
